Safia Rice Mills has decided to give back to the country additionally by caring for the environment through adding solar energy to its energy mix with help of DSG Energy’s 746kW Solar Solution which promises an estimated annual energy production of 1080 MWh which will help the environment by reducing 930 tons of carbon reduction.

This 740 kW installation by DSG comprises of advanced half cell technology 440 kW Canadian solar panels and the highly efficient Huawei 60 KTL Invertor with a cloud-based monitoring system available which makes monitoring of plant production easier
than ever. The unique feature about this installation that makes it stand out in the region is its specially designed groundbased, hot dip galvanized, and absolutely corrosion free piling structure. The innovation in this installation is the addition of high tech transformer which steps us the power coming from solar panels to 11 kVa and patches it in transmission lines through HT panel. Overall the system was carefully customized after analyzing Safia rice mills’ energy needs, space, and geographical location. Safia Rice Mills 740 kW DSG Solar Power Plant was successfully completed and commissioned in a short time span of 1.5 months. To keep the flag of DSG Green Eco Squad (a CSR initiative of DS Group fighting against climate change) trees were also planted on the occasion by team DSG and team Safia Rice Mills, symbolizing the beginning of a green era.
