Where on one hand these mills contribute in economy of country on the other one they unknowingly add up a lot of pollution in environment by making wrong energy choices for their necessary machines. But Elahi Rice Mills which lies in the industrial hub of Gujranwala, Pakistan and is one of the leading rice exporters made a smart energy choice by switching to safe & reliable solar energy with DSG Energy (Pvt) Ltd.
DSG Energy Pvt Ltd a project of DS group of Companies was established in Pakistan with an aim to make a considerable contribution in development of beloved motherland by revolutionizing the energy sector in Pakistan with latest technologies and techniques. DSG with its expertise of providing turnkey solar solutions customized the best possible 266 kW Grid Tied Solar Solution by carefully analyzing ERM’s energy needs , geographical position and roof conditions. This cutting edge system comprises of 360 W Half Cell Technology Solar Panels which are one of their own kind in terms of efficiency. Taking care of our consumer’s safety and comfort we used completely fuse free and reliable Huawei 60 KTL inverter with a high efficiency rate of 98.7%. DSG enables consumers to monitor energy and its patterns on their own. We used special cloud based monitoring system NETECO powered by Huawei
Although ERM observes a very good geographical position in terms of sunlight but it was a site with a scattered roofs which called for a distributed solar panel system. Our technical team of well qualified engineers designed the right distribution of solar panels and invertors for different roofs of ERM. Another major challenge over came by our team DSG was designing the right structure for the pre-fabricated slab roofs of mill. Our team of civil engineers designed a durable & corrosion resistant hot dip galvanized structure for this installation.
As a result of this dynamic solar system installation, today ERM is playing its part in saving the environment. The estimated annual yield of energy is almost 139.8 MWh. Moreover, the carbon footprint of ERM will be reduced by 334.15 metric tons per annum with this installation. The energy consumption of MTM has been reduced to 50%. This installation will not only meet the energy requirements of Elahi Rice Mills but it will also inspire other industries of this sector to make the right energy choices.
